Seoulmates’ 4th Day of Giving: Korean Animal Protection Society (KAPS)

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me 4 Calling Birds, 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Happy 4th day of Christmas! By today these animals are really beginning to stack up! If you’re an animal lover how about volunteering at one of Seoul’s animal shelters?  KAPS or Korean Animal Protection Society helps pets get into foster care and eventually become adopted. Volunteers can help by playing with, walking and grooming animals.

Korean Animal Protection Society
KAPS is looking for people in the Daegu area to spend one on one time with the animals located at their facility.  They host  a dog walk once a month where volunteers and dogs alike can get together and socialize.
If Dague is too far away, there are other ways to help.  Volunteers can foster a pet, make adoption profiles, raise awareness of KAPS in Korea and within the foreign community, and fundraise.
Donations of items and money are also greatly needed. If you are interested in Adopting a pet in Korea KAPS is a great place!
